for

Creating a Learning Organisation

The task of creating a learning organisation is a significant and long term challenge. The examples provided, using the services of the DLN, are looking to make significant progress in the first year.

The description of the examples are around the classic five stages of change:

  • Pre-awareness to Awareness
  • Awareness to Knowledge
  • Knowledge to Implementation
  • Implementation
  • Maintenance

We have provided costs in italics, but we stress that these costs are indicative only. They are external costs, they do not incorporate vat and it is assumed that meetings and courses will be in the client’s premises. The costs of staff time, which will be the main expenditure, are additional.

We provide links to a table to give an indication of the process, plus four examples:

  1. A table providing an indication of the process
  2. A small company (estimated costs £7,800)
  3. A company of 70-200 employees (estimated costs £13,100)
  4. A large enterprise  (Estimated costs £28,650)
  5. The Public Sector (estimate cots £33,150)
